Hear from Susan Baur about the efforts of Old Ladies Against Underwater Garbage (OLAUG). Since it was formed in 2017, OLAUG has been gathering small teams of swimmers, ages 64 to 85, to clean up ponds from Falmouth to Chatham. Co-founder Susan Baur will describe the group's efforts to sweep along the shallows and dive down to pick up beer cans, golf balls, fishing lures, waterlogged dog toys, hats, jackets, shoes, and occasionally a tire, cell phone, or box of spent fireworks.
