New North Falmouth Book Club

Ready to read? A new book group for North Falmouth residents has formed, and its first meeting will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 7 pm.

The group's first book is Hester by Laurie Lico Albanese, a book that, according to its publisher, is "a vivid reimagining of of the woman who inspired Hester Prynne, the tragic heroine of Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlett Letter, and a journey into the enduring legacy of New England's witchcraft trials." The group will continue to meet on the third Wednesday of of the month at the same time.
