Nathan (below left) and Silas Gartner (below center) of Falmouth took the top spots in the 2025 Paul White Road Race, which took place July 5. The 17-year-old twins finished with matching clock times of 26 minutes and 46 seconds. Luke O'Keefe (below, right) of New York City came in third with a time of 27:13.

Colette Kelly (below left) of East Falmouth led among female runners with a clock time of 30:02, and came in 11th overall. She was followed in the Female Top 3 category by Elise Casso (below center) of Falmouth (30:18, 14th place overall) and Clare Hall (below right) of Westborough, Massachusetts (31;43, 26th place overall).

A total of 437 runners participated in the 2025 event, a record turnout that was nearly 50 percent above the 2024 total. Held every July, the 4.81-mile race begins and ends on Chester Street between North Falmouth Library and Megansett Park (the site of the market owned by Paul White and his wife, Audrey, for many years). The race is sanctioned by USA Track & Field, the U.S. national governing body for track and field, long-distance running, and race walking.
This year's event raised $15,000, $10,000 of which went toward supporting the North Falmouth Village Association's non-profit efforts—initiating social & educational group activities, maintaining the Village Junction building, and awarding scholarships to graduating North Falmouth students.
