NFVA 2026 Scholarship Winners


The North Falmouth Village Association awarded $1,000 scholarships to four graduating high school students from North Falmouth who have exhibited both academic excellence and community spirit. Our congratulations to them all!



Isabelle Grayson


  • FHS class president; captain of FHS lacrosse and field hockey teams; Best Buddies chapter president   

  • Activities include FHS field hockey and lacrosse; student government; Best Buddies; Women in Stem; GLAM Girls; FHS Film Club; FHS Pickleball Club; Falmouth School Committee (student representative); Honor Societies (National, Math, and Art) 

  • Community service includes participation in GIB Club; PTO childcare; Falmouth Road Race; Graduation Honor Guard

  • Awards include RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), Daughters of the American Revolution FHS Representative; St. Anselm Book Award; Lacrosse Coaches Award; Field Hockey Sportsmanship Award; Clipper of the Week (Lacrosse). Featured in Falmouth Enterprise article

  • Works at Landfall Restaurant

  • Plans to attend College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts; major undecided

  • Goal is to be in business, interested in sales



James McGlinchey


  • Co-captain of FHS track and field (outdoor)

  • Activities include FHS track & field (indoor and outdoor); cross country team (soccer, lacrosse, & basketball teams in previous years); Ecology Club; Honor Societies (National, Math, Science, and Spanish) 

  • Community service activities include participation in Unified Basketball; serving as FHS mentor; volunteering for beach cleanups 

  • Awards include Track (indoor & outdoor) and Cross Country All-Star; Boston Globe All Scholastic Runner; Bausch + Lomb Honorary Science AwardAP Scholar; College Board National Recognition Program Award

  • Works at Bowerman's Beach Club  

  • Plans to attend the University of Florida to study chemistry 

  • Goal is to be an anesthesiologist 




Scarlett Oberton






Celia Suttles


  • President of Science National Honor Society; co-president and co-founder of Film Club; historian for the FHS chapter of the National Art Honor Society

  • Activities include Student Government (representative), Honor Societies (National, Math, Science, Art); Women in Stem Club; Model United Nations Club; Film Club; US Geological Survey (intern); Turning Pointe Dance Studio (dancer)   

  • Community service includes participation in the Falmouth Road Race, the Cape Cod Marathon, the FPS Styrofoam Recycling Drive, the John Wesley Church Art Exhibition, and the WHOI Sea Grant; maintenance of the FPS Vernal Pools; and helping Lawrence School students with Science Fair projects 

  • Awards include 1st Place, Falmouth Science, Technology, Art, and Engineering Fair; 3rd Place, Massachusetts Science and Engineering Fair; Oyster Pond Environmental Trust Award; 300 Committee Land Trust Award; Brown University Book Award; RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award)

  • Works at Windfall Market  

  • Plans to attend the University of Maryland to major in civil and environmental engineering

  • Goal is to get postgraduate degree after bachelors in civil engineering and work in the field of coastal infrastructure, with a focus on mitigating flood damage experienced by coastal communities 


Every year, the NFVA awards four $1,000 scholarships to North Falmouth residents who are graduating high school. The awards are based on academic achievement, participation in school and local activities, and overall service to the community. Applications typically open at the beginning of the calendar year.
