NFVA 2026 Scholarship Winners


The North Falmouth Village Association awarded $1,000 scholarships to four graduating high school students from North Falmouth who have exhibited both academic excellence and community spirit. Our congratulations to them all!



Isabelle Grayson


  • GPA 3.73 - taking 4 AP and 1 Honors class this year 

  • Works at Landfall Restaurant

  • FHS Class President, Captain FHS Lacrosse and Field Hockey, Best Buddies Chapter President  

  • Plans to attend Holy Cross, major undecided  

  • Activities include FHS Field Hockey & Lacrosse, Student Government, Best Buddies, Women in Stem, GLAM girls, FHS Film club, Pickleball club,  Falmouth School Committee student representative, Honor Societies (National, Math, and Art), 

  • Community Service activities include GIB club, PTO childcare, Falmouth Road Race, Graduation Honor Guard     

  • Awards include RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), DAR FHS Representative, St Anselm Book Award, Lacrosse Coaches Award, Field Hockey Sportsmanship Award, Clipper of the Week (Lacrosse), Published - newspaper article, poetry, and artwork 

  • Goal is to be in business, interested in Sales



James McGlinchey


  • GPA 3.91 - taking 5 AP classes this year 

  • Works at Bowerman's Beach Club  

  • Co-Captain of FHS Track and Field Outdoor

  • Plans to attend University of Florida to study Chemistry 

  • Activities include FHS Track & Field (indoor and outdoor, Cross Country, (Soccer, Lacrosse & Basketball in previous years), Environmental Club, Honor Societies (National, Math, Science, & Spanish) 

  • Community Service activities include Unified Basketball, FHS mentor, School volunteering, Beach Cleanups 

  • Awards include Track (Indoor & Outdoor) and Cross Country All Star, Boston Globe All Scholastic Runner, Bausch & Lomb award, AP Scholar, College Board National Recognition Program award   

  • Goal is to be an Anesthesiologist




Scarlett Oberton


  • GPA 3.35 - taking 2 AP classes this year  

  • Works at Eulinda's Ice Cream

  • Plans to attend Wheaton College to major in Nursing and play soccer

  • Activities include FHS Soccer, Falmouth Soccer Club, AC Independence Soccer Club, Cape Cod Youth  

  • Community Service activities include Falmouth Road Race, FHS Open House, EFES Spring Dance, Live Fully Soccer Camp, West Falmouth Preschool     

  • Awards include John and Abigail Adams Award, Cape & Islands League Girls Soccer All Star      

  • Goal is to become a Nurse 





Celia Suttles


  • GPA 3.94 - Taking 4 AP classes this year

  • Works at Windfall Market  

  • Plans to attend University of Maryland to major in Civil and Environmental Engineering

  • President Science National Honor Society, Co-President/Co-Founder of Film Club, Historian for Art National Honor Society,  

  • Activities include Student Government Representative, Honor Societies (National, Math, Science, Art), Women in Stem Club, Model United Nations Club, Film Club, US Geological Survey Intern, Dancer at Turning Pointe Dance Studio   

  • Community Service activities include Falmouth Road Race, Cape Cod Marathon, FPS Styrofoam Recycling drive, FPS Vernal Pools maintenance, Help Lawrence School students with Science Fair projects, John Wesley Church Art Exhibition, WHOI Sea Grant

  • Awards include 1st Place Falmouth Science, Technology, Art, and Engineering fair, 3rd Place Massachusetts Science and Engineering Fair, Oyster Pond Environmental Trust Award, 300 Committee Land Trust Award, Brown University Book Award, RYLA (Falmouth Rotary Club Youth Leader Recognition)

  • Goal is to get postgraduate degree after bachelors in Civil Engineering and work in field of Coastal Infrastructure with focus on mitigating flood damage experienced by coastal communities


Every year, the NFVA awards four $1,000 scholarships to North Falmouth residents who are graduating high school. The awards are based on academic achievement, participation in school and local activities, and overall service to the community. Applications typically open at the beginning of the calendar year.
