Nathan Wilson Talks about Mushrooms

Nathan Wilson, an avid field naturalist and founder of the Mushroom Observer website, presented a talk on local mushrooms to a packed audience at the North Falmouth Village Junction on Oct. 22.

Wilson, a specialist in fungi whose website (mushroomobserver.org) offered observations and expertise from his 40-year career, discussed the various types of mushrooms found in the area, and demonstrated how to identify them. The talk was sponsored by the North Falmouth Village Association.
