Village Unplugged—the NFVA's annual event when regional musicians offer acoustic performances featuring everything from soft and classic rock to story songs and folk tunes—will once again take place on the evening before the Paul White Road Race. This year's event will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on the North Falmouth Library lawn. Bring chairs and blankets to listen to the following musicians:

• Corey Heaslip, lead singer and guitarist for the local band Grasshopper Green, whose influences range from Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen to Death Cab for Cutie;
• Dan Cloutier, a folk singer-songwriter whose repertoire features "fast paced folk anthems, sweet tremolo electric jams, and quietly powerful story songs; and
• Elias Lieberman, rabbi emeritus of the Falmouth Jewish Congregation and a longtime musician, whose album The River featured litugy-based and secular songs with a folk and soft-rock sound.
Bring your own picnics or purchase meals and treats from several onsite vendors: The North Falmouth Congregational Church (which will again be selling hot dogs), Chawgies Food Truck, and Sea Scoops ice cream.
